Robert J. O'Connor, 64, of 1036 N. 17th St., Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning, May 3, at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Leo J. Schmitt and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. O'Connor was born May 2, 1917, at Manitowoc, son of the late Benjamin and Catherine Scherer O'Connor. He attended Manitowoc Schools and University of Wisconsin Extension Center in Manitowoc, and was married to Bonnie O'Malley Sept. 17, 1949, at Waukesha. Mr. O'Connor had been employed with Manitowoc Engineering Company for several years until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of Manitowoc Elks Lodge No. 687 and Holy Innocents Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; three sons, Michael O'Connor of Sheridan, Wyo., Timothy O'Connor of Milwaukee and Patrick O'Connor of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bartleme of Manitowoc and Mrs. Gene (Helen) Polinski of Chicago; a brother-in-law, John Bull of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Verona O'Connor and Mrs. Grace O'Connor and nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Jack, Richard and Francis and a sister, Mrs. John Bull preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A parish prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. immediately followed by Elks Lodge No. 687 services.
