Surviving are one son, Charles E. of Auburn; four daughters, Betty J. Dyer of Garrett, Helen J. (Jack) Sanders of Auburn, Rebecca I. (William) Meyers of Angola and Rosetta I. (Robert) Vollmer of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Art, George and Robert; and four sisters, Hazel Hartman, Ilda Shock, Helen Hawk and Florence Hackenburg.
His funeral was held Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 1 p.m. at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene. Burial was Feb. 17, in Roselawn Cemetery, Auburn. McComb, Dilgard & Cline Funeral Home, Auburn, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to the church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
