In 1880 she and her parents and eight siblings lived in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County, PA. Her father worked as a merchant. She married Wilson L Bowser August 20, 1895 in Armstrong County, PA.

In 1910 she and her husband and their six children lived in a place they were renting in Green District, Wetzel County, WV. Wilson worked as a foreman in the oil fields.

In 1920 she, her son Roy, and her four youngest children lived on a farm they owned, mortgage free, in Magnolia District in the same county. Roy worked as a pumper in an oil field and George as a farmer.

In 1930 she and Wilson and their three youngest children lived in a place they were renting for $13 a month in Donegal Township, Washington County, PA. Her husband worked as a field foreman in an oil field, George as a barber in a barber shop, and Fred as a laborer. Helen was a student.

In 1940 she and her husband lived in a place they were renting for ten dollars a month in Lincoln District, Tyler County, WV.

In 1950 she and Wilson and her sister Clara lived on a farm on State Road 657 near Chatham in Newton Township, Licking County, OH.
