Walter Adams, 46, Dies Today
Walter Dale Adams, 46, 1420 W. 10th St., died about 4 p.m. today at his home after an illness of several months. Mr. Adams was born March 17, 1915, in Jennings County and was the son of Clarence J. and Arvilla Hayes Adams. He came to Anderson in 1951 from Frankton. Before his illness he was employed at the Barber Manufacturing Co. in Anderson. Surviving are: his mother, Mrs. Arvilla Adams, Anderson; four brothers, Leslie C. Adams, Anderson; Lester W. Adams, Largo, Fla.; Clarence (Ted) Adams, Elwood, and Robert K. Adams, Elwood, and five sisters, Mrs. Helen Baker, Mrs. Sue Clore, Mrs. Juanita Zirkelbach and Miss Marilyn Adams, all of Anderson, and Mrs. Rosemary VanNess, Triangle, Va. The body was taken to the baker Brothers Funeral Home where friends will be received after 7 p. m. Friday. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. A. C. Marvin, pastor of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Reddington Cemetery at Reddington, Ind.
Note: after the death of his mother, Dale was brought to Anderson and burried in the East Maplewood Cemetery.
