L. PERRY GRAHAM DIES AT HOME ON 70th BIRTHDAY
Lawson Perry Graham, 70, died at his home here Friday, Dec. 14.
Funeral services were at the Christie Funreal Home Monday afternoon. Burial was in the La Plata Cemetery.
Mr. Graham was born Dec. 14, 1881 in Sue City, the son of Luther Garrett and Ellen Jane (Moncrief) Graham. His first wife, Bessie Snow, and their two sons, Elbert and Ulysses, preceded him in death; also a brother, John; and a sister, Elizabeth.
Later he married Icie Myrtle Salisbury on July 6, 1920 in La Plata, and they had two sons.
Surviving are the two sons, Lawson Perry Jr. of Kirksville, and Everett Gail, serving in the armed forces; two sisters, Mrs. John Wise and Mrs. John Beall, both of La Plata; four brothers, Jim and Frank of La Plata, Ellis of Bristol, Indiana, and John of Kirksville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
