In 1910 he was living with his sister Emma Ward in Bronson, Ohio, and was living with his sister Hattie Allison in 1920 in Fitchville, Ohio.
His death certificate says he was born March 19, 1840. Page 808 of the April 1930 "Firelands Pioneer" give his date of birth as Match 19, 1841. These years are clearly incorrect as born out by earlier census records and the plain fact his parents were married in 1850. It is not uncommon for peoples ages to be exaggerated as the grow older. Thus, I have used March 19, 1851 as his actual date of birth.
