Son of Louis and Elena Merusi. He graduated from Randolph High School and Boston University, and did graduate work at the University of Vermont. He married Pauline Willis in Waterbury, June 28, 1936. State editor and photographer of the Herald for more than three decades. Won numerous photo awards in regional and national competition. In high school he was very athletic playing baseball, and basketball. Talented as a writer as well as photography. Took pictures of six presidents through his career. Survived by his wife, of Rutland, a brother, Emile Merusi, and his sister, Mrs. Enis Musino, both of Randolph, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was private and no visitation. Contributions were to made to the Vermont Cancer Society or the Rutland County Humane Society. Aldo was quite a comedian. (He even buried his money in jars on his property.)
