Donald Leroy Edington, 57, of 2722 Hoover Ave., Altoona, died today at the Badger Rest Home in Fairchild, where he had been in ill health for the past year and a half.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth, two daughters, Mrs. John O'Donnell, Chippewa Falls, and Mrs. George Wegen, Milwaukee, a son, Richard, of Milwaukee, three step-daughters, Mrs. Earl Balow and Mrs. Derald Lahner of Eau Claire and Mrs. Richard Downs of Minneapolis and 27 grandchildren.

Mr. Edington was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Roy B. Schmeichel officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens. Friends may call at the chapel Wednesday afternoon and evening and Thursday until time of the services.
