He was 75 years old. He was the son of the late Joe Latimer and Mamie Emma Latimer. At the 1995 Reunion, as recognition for starting this Family Reunion, Nathan Hooks was voted as Honorary President for life and Emanuel Latimore was voted Honorary Vice President for life. The reunion has traveled as far South as Miami, Florida and as far North as Philadelphia. The first Latimore and Hooks family reunion was held on July 15, 1978 in Miami, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Fay M. Latimore; sons, Eddie Walker, Carl Latimore, Emanuel Latimore, Jr. and Marvin Moss; daughters, Carol Latimore, Lillian Latimore-Boone, Stephanie Latimore-Lockhart and Tametha Latimore; step-children, Tricia Douglas and Gavin Andrade; and 13 grandchildren. Burial at South Florida National Cemetery. Deceased brothers: Ozell Latimore and Joe B. Latimer
