Nicholas DeBardi passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends in Lynnwood on July 16, 2012 at the age of 89 years. He was born in Masontown WV on September 13, 1922 to Francesco and Lucia (DeVergenia) DeBardi (originally DeBerado). He graduated in 1940 from Masontown High School, in Masontown WV. After high school Nick joined the US Navy serving as an electrican's mate on a sub-chaser in the Pacific theater. He married Clara DiBastiani in 1947. Nick started work at the Boeing Airplane Company in 1954 and retired as Superintendant of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Fabrication Division - Auburn Plant in 1986 after 32 years. Nick enjoyed gardening, growing garlic, golfing with friends, and maintaining the perfect lawn. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Nick is survived by his wife Clara DeBardi; sons Gary DeBardi (Deborah Magallanes), Daniel DeBardi (Francine), Richard DeBardi (Kathryn); brother Dan DeBardi of California; grandchildren Derek DeBardi (Roxanne) Tammara Resch; great-grandchildren Jeremy, Haley, Jaret, and his namesake Nicholas
