WINSTON-SALEM Inez Servance Shaw Dec. 5, 1921 - July 28, 2012 Mrs. Inez Servance Shaw was born December 5, 1921 in Sumter, SC. She passed away July 28, 2012 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home following a period of illness. She was a life-long member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and a retired employee of Bell South. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Julia Servance; her husband, Percy L. Shaw, Jr.; sister, Annie L. Wiley; and two uncles, Robert Boger and James Boger. Immediate survivors include her birth son, Howard L. Shaw of the home; three other sons, Elmo (Annie) Lindsay, James (Cheryl) Lindsay, and Earnest (Merle) Lindsay; and a number of cousins, nephews, nieces, and other members of the extended family. Homegoing services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
