Marlow Callahan, our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, returned to his Heavenly Father on January 6, 2000.

Born August 13, 1907 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Edward William Batty and Margaret Callahan. He married Eva Mae Meyerhoffer June 2, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a devoted husband. They enjoyed a loving, caring marriage for 61 years. He was a caring citizen, serving as City Councilman and Mayor of South Salt Lake. He founded Callahan Tile Co., which worked on many prominent buildings and LDS temples. His great goal in life was the well being of his wife and family. He was a great lover of nature, enjoyed music and sang in productions and LDS programs, held an active interest in sports, coaching several teams, and was an avid gardener. He had a great knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which was the basis of his life. His testimony was a legacy to his family. He served an LDS mission in the Central States Mission and was a Seminary Teacher, Bishop, beloved Gospel Doctrine Teacher and Stake Patriarch. He continues to live in the hearts of his family. We look forward to a happy reunion.
