SUICIDES AFTER DRINKING.
Albert Quonce, 60, painter and paperhanger, committed suicide Friday morning in his second floor apartment over 100 West Second street, Oswego. He used a 12-gauge doublebarreled shotgun, holding the gun between his knees while seated in a chair, apparently pressing the trigger with his big toe. One barrel was discharged, the charge tearing away the entire left side of his head.
After an investigation in which statements were taken from several persons, District Attorney Harry M. Stacy pronounced a verdict of suicide, deciding Quonce was under the influence of denatured alcohol at the time he committed the act.
