Velma was a tiny,incredibly energetic woman, a bit shy and with a heart of gold. She was a nurse and enjoyed taking care of others, cooking and being a mother and grandmother. She is missed by all that knew her. Survived by her parents, Lewis and Minnie Prophet. She was the wife of J. Perry Price and mother of Charles, Shelia and Phyllis Price, all of Huguley, AL
Cause of Death: Colon Cancer
