MRS. ELLENOR NEVILL
After many weeks of patient suffering Mrs. Ellenor Nevill died at the home her son, James, in Vernon at the age of 86 years 9 months and 23 days. The funeral was held Saturday from the home conducted by Rev. J. E. McDonald and the remains interred in Cherry Grove.
Mrs. Ellenor Nevlll, whose maiden name was Westover, was born in Port Burnvell, Ont., Dec. 8,1821. In 1839 she was united in marrage to James Nevill. To this union were born nine children, of whom seven survive.
The deceased came with her husband to Clare about nine years ago and has since made her home with her son, James in Vernon.
The friends and relatives from outside points who attended the funeral are as follows: Alfred Nevill, of St. Thomas, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. George Purdy, of Ithaca; Mr. and Mrs. Archie Purdy, of Ithaca; Mr. and Mrs. John Westover, of Saginaw.
