RE:DOB In the 1850 US Census David was 45 years old which would make his DOB 1805 and the attahed Virginia date of deaths says he was born in 1807, so that is why I compromised and am using the 1806 date here.
DAVID STONEBURNER was the son of John Stoneburner and Barbara Showman. David's father, was listed as Johannes Steinbrenner when he married Barbara Shouman (Showman)in Shenandoah County marriage records in 1803.
Although Census records show Johannes Steinbrenner was born in Germany, John may have come to Shenandoah County via Loudoun County, VA. So far I have not found his port of entry.
Parents: Johannes Steinbrenner (John Stoneburner) and Barbara Shouman (Showman) daughter of Stephen Showman.
Children of John and Barbara Stoneburner:

3) John It should be noted that John Josiah Stoneburner who lived in Edinburg may have been this sibling John) John Josiah said that his father was born in Loudoun County, VA - my conjecture is that John (Johannes Steinbrenner) Stoneburner may have come to Shenandoah County via Loudoun County.
4)Sophia (Shenandoah County marriage records shows she was also a daughter of John and Barbara)and there may be others not yet identified. According to the baptismal records of the Zion-Pine Stony Creek Lutheran Church, David's father is listed as Johannes Steinbrenner and Barbara had two children Absalom Stoneburner and John Stoneburner baptized in August and Sept 1817.In addition, David's parents,John and Barbara, are listed as the parents of Sophia Stoneburner in her Shenandoah County marriage records.
David Stoneburner married Elizabeth "Betsy" Helsley on 27 Feb 1827. Their marriage was blessed with the following children (there may have been more children):
1) Margaret Stoneburner(1820-1895) m. John Williams
2) William Henry (1829-1882)m.Mary Elizabeth Donovan (Dunivan) til Widowed and then m. Margaret Hoover
3) Ann Elizabeth (1831-?) m.Charles Henry "Henry" Hall on Sep 4, 1851
4) (Mary)Catherine (1838-1918) m. Readus M. Fry(1834-1897) on 6 Jul 1862
