This little girl was named Victoria Holt, named after her grandmother Victoria Britton Cuninngham (see find a grave #76157207). The family story is her father was Cecil C. Holt (see find a grave ##83045128) and a women we do not have the name of. Cecil was the twin brother of my grandfather, John Kinchelow Holt (whose grave is unknown).
We do not know when she was born or when she died. But, the family story was that she disappeared soon after this picture was taken (may have been the same day!) when she was sent for water. At that were found was some of her clothing and water pail on a fencepost.
She may have fallen in the water and her body never recovered or she was taken. Her father, Cecil, died at his own hand by drowning in the Missouri river March 29th 1938.
From this picture and the fact she never appears in the 1900 or 1910 census, I think she was born and died in the 1910s. There is no other record of her.
