Lucille Sutton-Beck, 84, of Odessa, passed away Thursday evening, Sept. 23, 2004, in the ICU at Medical Center Hospital.
She was born May 20, 1920, in Carthage, Texas, to the parentage of Allen Sutton and Lottie Hooker-Sutton.
Mrs. Beck was a homemaker and was a faithful member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, as well as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Lottie was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Bunny S. Beck; a son, Howard Beck; a granddaughter, Donna Baldero; a great-grandson, Jailall Baldero; and a great-granddaughter, Bunny Terry.
Mrs. Lottie Beck is survived by two sons, Henry Beck of Odessa and Harvey Harper of San Angelo; sisters, Mildred Burts and Hazel Servance (the Rev. Richmond L.), both of Odessa; one brother, the Rev. Roscoe Sutton of Odessa; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
You may visit with Lottie at Martinez Funeral Home between 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie Beck will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 W. Clements Drive, with the Rev. Hezekiah Lewis officiating and the Rev. Charles Martin as eulogist.
Burial will follow at the Ector County Cemetery's Rose Hill section.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Medical Center Hospital, ICU Dr. R.J. Patel and all of her caregivers for their caring nature and professionalism.
