Eleanor (Nora) Denk, of 1415 North 3rd Street, Manitowoc, died Thursday morning,
April 10, 1992, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 13, 9:30 a.m., at the Pfeffer Funeral Home
and 10 a.m. at the Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Rev. David Ruby presiding
at the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
She was born in the town of Liberty, Manitowoc County, Wis., daughter of the late
George and Bertha Kasbaum Tuschel. She married Ervin Denk June 22, 1935 at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, Wis. He preceded her in death on February 16,
1976. She was a nurse with Home Care Services and was employed with Mr. Harold
Kallies for many years. She was a member of the Christian Women of Holy Innocents
and a member of the Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Verna Tuschel of Manitowoc,
Christine and Terry Schaefer of Green Bay; one sister-in-law, Caroline Denk of
Manitowoc; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other
relatives and friends. She is further survived by a special companion, Odie. She
was preceded in death by one brother, the Rev. Walter Tuschel; two sisters, Mrs.
Hilda Reiderer Pankratz and Cecilia Tuschel and a son-in-law, Daniel Klein.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 4 to 8 p.m.
