HENRIETTA DENK
Henrietta E. Denk, 90, a resident of North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, formerly
of 910 Chicago Street, Manitowoc, died this Monday morning, May 21, 1990, at North
Ridge Care Center.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home. Rev. William Zimmer will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born January 4, 1900, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Osman and
Mary Jenson Larson. She grew up and was educated in Manitowoc County. She worked for
Mirro Company for 25 years and also helped her husband with Denk's Tavern until their
retirement in 1971. She married George P. Denk on January 26, 1946, at Manitowoc. He
preceded her in death July 8, 1988. Mrs. Denk was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic
Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include a step son and his wife, Gerald and Louise Denk of Lititz,
Pennsylvania; a step daughter-in-law, Edith Denk of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law,
Ida Grall Moeller and Mamie Larson; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and a step son,
George Denk.
Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, 12 noon Tuesday
and until the time of service.
