MRS. GLANDER, YOUNG MOTHER OF THREE DIES
Wife of William H. Glander Dies At Chicago Hospital; Born In Mishicot
Mrs. William H. Glander, 1016 St. Clair street, ill for the last few weeks
and a week ago removed to Chicago for treatment, died early this morning at
the Masonic hospital in that city. The deceased who was Miss Lillian Jonas
of Mishicot, had been a resident of this city since her marriage to Mr.
Glander, Washington street business man, in 1924.
The remains will be brought to Manitowoc this evening from Chicago and funeral
services will probably be held from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral
home on Monday. Announcement will be made on Saturday.
The deceased was born in Mishicot 31 years ago and after graduating from the
high school there attended the county normal school in this city. Later she
enrolled in th (sic) Oshkosh State Teachers' college from which school she was
graduated and engaged in teaching in the county, which she continued until her
marriage to Mr. Glander in this city eight years ago.
Besides her husband she is survived by three small children (Private). Her
mother, Mrs. Fred Jonas, who made her home with her daughter, five brothers,
Hugo, of this city, Judge Edgar Jonas and Atty. Fred Jonas, both of Chicago,
August of Tacoma, Wash., and Harry of Minneapolis, and four sisters, Meta of
this city, Mrs. James Panosh, Mishicot, Esther, a teacher at West Allis and
Mrs. Rose Vogel of Two Rivers, also survive.

GLANDER FUENRAL TO BE ON Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. William H. Glander, who died Friday morning at Chicago,
will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from the late home, on St. Clair street. The
services will be in charge of the Rev. G.D. Ristad and intermane will be at
Evergreen cemetery.
