Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Larry Ellenberger will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Haese, was born May 4, 1903, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late James and
Clara Bischoff Van Bramer. As a child she moved to Montello, Wis. with her
parents. She grew up and attended local Lutheran Schools at Montello and was
confirmed there. She returned to Manitowoc where she was married to Adolf J.
Haese, Oct. 5, 1922, by Rev. Karl Machmiller. Her husband preceded her in death
March 30, 1983. Mrs. Haese was a charter member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran
Church, a charter member of Bethany Ladies Aid, a former member of the church
choir and also a member of Manitowoc County Braille Club.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Marge Haese of
Milwaukee and Ronald and Arline Haese of Manitowoc; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Lillian and Richard Bero of Two Rivers and Caroline and Ralph
Feyersen of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by two sisters, a great grandchild and a daughter-in-law,
Ziphora Haese.
Friends may call at Urbanek Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and
Saturday until 11 a.m. and then at the church from noon until the time of
services. Memorial would be appreciated to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church.
