LEON B. HUSKE

Leon B. Huske, 46, of 1018 South 17th street, died Wednesday afternoon at Maple
Crest sanatorium.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m., from the Leschke Funeral Home
and at 2:30 at Evergreen cemetery, the Rev. Martin Trygstad of the Valders
Lutheran church officiating. The body will lie in state at the Leschke Funeral
Home from 7:30 o’clock this evening until the hour of the services.
Mr. Huske was born in Georgia on November 19, 1895. He came to Manitowoc in 1917
and had been employed as a machinist at the ship yards.
He married Blanche Singer of this city on September 19, 1919. She survives with
five children, Eleanore, Rosemary and William of this city, John of Valders and
Leo who is sailing on the Lakes; and one sister, Mrs. M. M. Frazier of Atlanta,
Ga.
Mr. Huske is a Word War veteran. He served in that war with the engineering corps.
