Mrs. Thomas (Marian E.) Keery, 69, of 742 S. 30th Street, Manitowoc, died
Thursday afternoon, March 19, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am
at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Keery, nee Marian Elaine Stockinger, was born October 18, 1917, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Rudolph and Katherine Gagnon Stockinger Sr. She graduated
from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1935. She married Thomas S. Keery Sr.
on May 10, 1941 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mrs. Keery was employed
as Executive Director of the Housing Authority for the City of Manitowoc, retiring
in January, 1981. Mrs. Keery was a member of St. Paul Parish Women of St. Paul
Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Jr.
and Debra Keery of Mishicot and David and Cheryl Keery of Manitowoc; a daughter,
Mrs. Raymond (Patricia) Lopez of Chicago; two grandsons, Michael and Brian; a
brother and sister-in-law, Rudolph and Pearl Stockinger Jr. of Manitowoc; sisters
and brothers-in-law, Miss Loretta Stockinger of Manitowoc; Jean and Arnold
McDonnell of Manitowoc, and Ruth and Gerald Ward of Madison. She was preceded in
death by two sisters, Rita Stockinger and Helen Stockinger Heise and a son-in-law,
Raymond L. Lopez.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral home, 4 pm to 9 pm Sunday where a prayer
service will be at 8 pm by Deacon Bill Klein.
