Edward Koehler, 44, North 22nd street, died Sunday morning. He had been ill
three months.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Shimek and Schwartz
funeral home, the Rev. C. H. Phipps of the First Presbyterian church officiat-
ing. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Koehler was born in Chicago in 1894 and came to Manitowoc in 1915. He
married Miss Emma Marshek in 1917. He was employed at the plant of the Manitowoc
Portland cement company in recent years.
Survivors are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. William Schipper, city; two brothers,
Arthur and Walter, both of Chicago; a stepsister, Edith Letto, Glen Ellyn, Ill.,
and step-father, Henry Letto, Glen Ellyn, Ill.
The body may be viewed at the Shimek and Schwartz funeral home from seven o'clock
this evening until the hour of the services Tuesday.
