ALOIS MEYER

Alois G. Meyer, 67, of 1008 Magnolia Ave., Manitowoc, died Sunday, May 20, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 12 noon at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Alfred Schneider and Father Dan Felton and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Meyer was born May 22, 1916, at Cato, Wis., son of the late Louus (sic) F. and Anna M. Miller Meyer. He resided in Manitowoc County all his life and attended St. Boniface Parochial Schcol (sic) and was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1935. He married Catherine Delsman in 1945 at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death May 24, 1966. He then married Evelyn Herrman Koch, July 27, 1974, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Prior to his retirement in 1978, he was employed at Imperial Eastman Company for over 30 years where he held the position of Manager of Quality Control. Mr. Meyer was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn A., four sons, John R. and Cynthia Meyer of Route 2, Cato, James W. and Kay Meyer, Michael and Sharon Koch and Jon and Merry Koch all of Manitowoc; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Patricia and Daniel Johanek of Appleton, Marjorie and Lyle Ruthmansdorfer of Manitowoc and Miss Mary Koch and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
