LOUIS MEYER (d. 1976)

Louis F. Meyer, 92, of 1016 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Alfred A. Schneider will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Meyer was born Nov. 8, 1883, in the town of Cato, son of the late Wolfgang and Magdalene Vogel Meyer. He married Anna Mueller Sept., 1913, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. She preceded him in death Aug. 10, 1965. He moved to Manitowoc in 1923.

Prior to his retirement 22 years ago, he was employed by the City of Manitowoc Cemetery and Park Departments as a foreman.

Survivors include a son, A. J. Meyer, of Manitowoc; a brother Joseph, of Clarks Mills; four sisters, Mrs. Lena Doubek and Mrs. Margaret Reitmeyer, of Reedsville, Mrs. Anna Meyer, of Clarks Mills, and Mrs. Clara Wagner, of Illinois; and two grandsons, (private). Seven brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
