Charles Milford, 60, died at his home, 2112 Washington street, Tuesday following
a lingering illness. Mr. Milford was a restaurant operator in Manitowoc for
several years.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Pfeffer funeral home with
the Rev. Ernest Zoerb of the First Lutheran church in charge. Burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Thursday
noon on.
Mr. Milford was born in Buffalo, N.Y., in 1883. His widow survives with one
daughter, Mrs. Edwin Hansen Jr. of Manitowoc, and one sister, Mrs. Fred Beckmann
of Alden, N.Y.
