Aunt Bertha was the devoted wife of Uncle Arch Maier and mom to Janet and John Arch Maier. In 1954 having met with some social Set-backs and working in the Rocket Section of WADC Wright-Patterson AFB Dayton O my everloving mom sensed my travail. She and Aunt Bertha took a BUS from Scranton Pa to Dayton O to be with me and console me. I treated them to(then at least) a super Air Show of USAF growing power in the air.. Magnificent-- but I'm afraid Aunt Bertha's son John Arch- my cousin took me religiously age 16-- to the Culm dump (the Bunt) to teach me to drive a car-- my dad was dead. I passed with flying colors on the first trial. ~Pete Huester
