Anne Dragon "Annie" Crawford
CRAWFORD Anne "Annie" Dragon Crawford passed away at her home on Thursday, August 9, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with gallbladder cancer.
Beloved wife of twenty-seven years of John W. Crawford, Jr. Loving mother of Sean Michael Crawford and Andrew Patrick Crawford. Daughter of Wenceles "Sonny" J. Dragon, Jr. and Bertha Ledet Dragon. Sister of Paula Dragon Tucker (Chris) and Margaret Dragon Lewis (Ed). Daughter-in-law of Betty Carbo Crawford and the late John W. Crawford, Sr. Sister-in-law of Kevin M. Crawford (Julie), Patricia Rasch (Randy) and Terry P. Crawford (Lisa).
Mrs. Crawford, age 47 years, was a 1982 graduate of Mercy Academy.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of the Gayle & Tom Benson Cancer Center as well as to the staff of St. Joseph Hospice for their care.
Relatives, friends of the family, employees of Freeport-McMoran and Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau and friends of Colonial Bowling Lanes Friday Night Patio Mixed Bowling League are invited to call on the family at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 15th from 10:00 AM until 12:45 PM. A Funeral Mass will then be conducted in the Chapel at 12:45 PM.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
