Josephine "Dolly" Captain of Mayfield died Wednesday at the VNA Hospice at Geisinger Community Medical Center. Born July 3, 1927, daughter of the late Michael and Santa Phillips O'Bell, she was a member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish, Jermyn, and was a member and former secretary for the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a graduate of Mayfield High School and attended St. Thomas Business College. She retired from Gentex Corp., where she worked for 45 years. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Louis O'Bell; and two sisters, Ann O'Bell and Marie Manganella. The funeral will be Monday with Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish, to be celebrated by her nephew, the Rev. John O'Bell. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Mayfield. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 10 at the church. Arrangements by Ryczak-Harrison Funeral Home Inc., 901 Lackawanna Ave., Mayfield.
