MABEL GILBERTSON
Mrs. Clarence Gilbertson, 70, of Rt. 1, Valders, Town of Liberty, died Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Valders, the Rev. A. B. Holland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Mabel Thompson, Nov. 20, 1886, in the Town of Liberty, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Thompson.
On June 15, 1935, she was married to Clarence Gilbertson in the Town of Liberty where they farmed the remainder of her years.
Survivors include the husband, a sister, Miss Olga Thompson of Valders, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the Berge Funeral Home, Valders. At 11 a.m. Friday, the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the hour of service.
