TO BURY VALDERS HIGH SCHOOL BOY THERE TOMORROW
Funeral services for Everett Thompson, 16-year-old Valders high school student who died at the Holy Family hospital Saturday morning will be held from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Thompson at Valders Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock and from Our Savior’s church immediately after. Burial will be at Valders.
The death of the Thompson boy causes widespread sorrow at Valders. He
had been ill only one week, undergoing an operation for appendicitis
and then, when apparently recovering, necessity for a second operation appeared and his death followed. He was a junior in the Valders high, a member of the band and orchestra of the school and very popular. He was a member of the Bible class and Sunday school of Our Savior’s church.
His parents, three sisters, Bergetta, Almire (sic) and Evan (sic) Jean and one brother, Conrad, with the parents, survive, all at Valders. Rev. Espeseth will officiate at the funeral.
