Anders C. Thompson, 96, of Medford, formerly of Valders, died Thursday
morning at Medford.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church,
Valders. The Rev. Carl Peters will officiate and burial will be in Our
Saviour Cemetery, Valders.
Mr. Thompson was born June 21, 1877, in the Town of Rockland, son of the
late Edwin and Anna Aubol Thompson. He married Emma Madson April 3, 1902, at
Gjerpen Church. She preceded him in death in 1958.
Mr. Thompson was a retired farmer. He was a charter member and former
trustee of Faith Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur, of Sheboygan and Reuel, of Dorchester;
two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Esther) Fenlon, of Valders and Mrs. Lester
(Jennie) Vandre, of Sheboygan; a brother, Reuel E., of Valders; 11
grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Alma
Christenson, of New Holstein.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, after
6 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday and then at the church from noon until
the time of service.
