Henry Baker, aged 63, died as his home in Jordan township Saturday morning following a several week illness with heart ailment. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Rev. Ward officiating, and burial was made in the Chatfield cemetery. The rites at the grave were in charge of the Masonic lodge. Deceased was born October 23, 1866, in this county and had spent nearly his entire life in this community. He was married at Rochester December 11th, 1890 to Etta May Welch, whose death occurred in 1908. He is survived by one son, Floyd, three brothers and two sisters: Sidney, Rochester, James and William of this community; Mrs. Beth Mullen, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Anna Odell, Madison, S.D.
