Compost and Recycle Center, was former Roscommon Township Cemetery Sexton, had served 2 terms as a member of the Roscommon County Board of Commissioners, served on the Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Board, and had served 2 terms on the Roscommon County Road Commission, he was on the Board of the Roscommon County Mini Bus, and was a Board member of Grayling Mercy Hospice, he served on the Houghton Lake Bobcat Booster Club and was the Secretary of the Roscommon County Republican Party. Bill was a life member of Houghton Lake Baptist Church where he also served as a Deacon.
