Greenwood SC - J. Homer Ouzts, 77, died Friday at his home after a long illness. Born in Greenwood County he was a son of the late James T. and Lula McManus Ouzts. He was a retired freight clerk. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Rhodes Ouzts of the home; two sons, J. Marshall Ouzts of Lumberton NC, James Homer Ouzts of Edgefield; three sisters, Mrs. J. D. Kemp of Edgefield, mrs. Lena Rush and Mrs, Pierce Partlow of Greenwood; a brother, Dr. W. Hollie Ouzts of Spartanburg; three step-sons, Wallace and Tommy Chandler of Greenwood, Kenneth Chandler of Greenville; five grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. Burial in Mountain Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Blyth Funeral Home.
