Family visitation will be today, August 24, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Jeff Sellers and Alan Watkins officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Hicks. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Hamilton (Gene); grandsons, Luke Hamilton (Susan) and Josh Hamilton (Meg); great-granddaughter, Hollis; sister, Lucille Tucker; brothers, Edward Adams (Martha) and Johnny Adams (Margie).
Memorials to Children's Hospital, Birmingham, or Ninth Street United Methodist Church.
