John and Elizabeth moved from Ontario to Alberta, Canada settling in or near Strathmore, where they met the family of Oscar and Olive (Campbell) Miller. Her son, John Benjamin Auld would later marry Oscar's daughter Sara.
From Canada, they came to the United States, settling north of Spokane at Waikiki Farms, owned by J. P. Graves. William worked as the manager of the farm from 1919 to 1931. After that it was run by the Poston's. Their children also worked there.
To them were born five children:
George Charles Auld (1898-1969)
William David Auld, II (1896-1984)
Clarence Auld (1899-1981)
John Benjamin Auld, Sr. (linked on this page)
Margaret Elizabeth Jane (Auld) Bronson (1903-1991)

*managed by a descendant of Oscar and Olive (Campbell) Miller. I would like to pass this memorial on to a descendant of William and Elizabeth (McCook) Auld.
