Clarden J. Allman, 81, of Millersburg, Ohio, formerly of Vincent, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the Scenic Point Nursing Home in Millersburg.

He was born August 15, 1931, in Rockport, W.Va., a son of the late Frederick and Chloe Kerr Allman. He retired with the Laborer's Union #1085 of Parkersburg. He was a Pentecostal by faith and served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

He is survived by two sons, Clayton Allman (Margaret) and Jeff Allman (Tammy), both of Vincent, Ohio; four sisters, Lorena Patterson, Velma Beha and Freda Taylor, all of Parkersburg, and Mary Casto of Mineral Wells; two brothers, Carl Allman of Parkersburg and Freddie Allman of Mineral Wells; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vona Allman; and one son, Clarden Allman.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Robert Barker officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
