he died between 1870-1875, Letter from Omus Shuman born 1874, in 1964, he mentions Peter Claywell Eidson being buried in Dove Cem., . He said when he went to see his cousin Wille (Kincaid) & her husband Callie Jones in 1926 they all went to the Dove Cemetery and Aunt "Duck" (Willie's mother) put a metal marker on Grandpa Eidson's grave. I still have a copy of that letter.also reports from a professional genealogist hired stated the Dove Cem also. The only Dove cem is Lonesome Dove in this area, and in which they lived, so I know he is buried here and there should have been a metal marker on it at one time.
It also says that there were 4 of the Eidson girls and all were buried there in the Dove Cemetery, except Grandma (Eliza Claywell Eidson) so that leaves these four below to be buried here, and he seen the graves in 1926.
(I know of these Eidson girls of Peter Eidson)
1. Jamima Amanda Eidson died abt 1901, married to Smith
2. Margaret Clementine "Magg" Eidson, d. 21 Jan 1901, married to an Owen then a Berry
3.Cornelia Angeline "Neal" Eidson died abt 1872, married to an Allen
4. Sarah Eidson born abt 1844, but don't know anything else

son of Joseph E. Eidson & Mildred J. "Milly" Claywell

His siblings:
Jemima Arthur Gooch

Jane Arthur Eidson
