Funeral services for Mrs. Walter D. Blume will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the State Street Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. T. Earl Vaughn. Burial will be in Denmark Cemetery, Denmark.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
Mrs. Blume, 70, of 711 M Ave., Cayce, the former Ruth Tant, died Monday at her home.
Born in Bamberg County, she was a daughter of the late John Edward and Prelove Preveaux Tant. She was a member of the State Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Julius W. Blume of Trenton; a daughter, Mrs. Evelena Adams of Jacksonville, N.C.; three brothers, Louie Tant of Cayce, Lonnie Tant of Denmark and Tommy Tant of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a sister, Ms. Ida T. Pride of Cayce; and 12 grandchildren.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
