Sadie Newberry Stilwell Fairbrother,76,of 2249 Valley Pike Lot 34 of Dayton Ohio formerly of Raven Viginia passed away Thursday March 6 2003 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Raven Virginia and was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Jim and Laura Turner Newberry both of Russell County.
She had made her home in the Raven Virginia area most of her life before moving to Dayton Ohio nine years ago.
She was a member of the Richlands Tabernacle Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband--Elyhew Stilwell.
Two sisters--Rosa Newberry Richardson and Arlene Newberry.
Three brothers--Jay Newberry--Andrew Newberry and Ruey Newberry.
Survivors are her second husband--Elbridge B. Fairbrother.
One daughter--Mrs. Bill Ray (Naomi Stilwell) Joyce of Richlands Virginia.
Three sons--Bill Stilwell and wife Brenda of Paintlick Virginia--Wayne Stilwell and wife Irma of Rutledge Tenn and Jimmy Stilwell and wife Gail of Brunswick Hills Ohio.
Two sisters--Mrs. Iva Lee Newberry Stilwell of Raven Virginia and Mrs. Thelma Newberry Weaver of Jefferson North Carolina.
Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at eleven Monday at the Richlands Tabernacle in Richlands Virginia with the Revs. Ralph Horton and Phillip Horton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Stilwell--Don Stilwell--Ruey Newberry--Mark Joyce--Barry Newberry--Carl Addison and Gary Hess.
Friends may call after six today at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands Virginia and at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Burial will be in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill Virginia.
