Surviving are her children; Donald (Catherine Ankenbrandt) Kestel of WI, Colleen (Leonard) Branchaw of Manhattan, and Karen Kestel of WI, her grandchildren; Trina (Michael) McVicker, Meghan Keating (Peter) Brickwedde, Erin Keating, Carly and Kaitlyn Branchaw, and her great grandchildren; Michael, Michelle, and Veronica McVicker, Savannah and Cooper Sarbacker, her sister, Rose Pucel, and sister-in-law to; Marge Bossi, AnnaMae Helt, and Robert (Maree) Kestel and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Gerald (1992), her parents Richard and Elizabeth Haley, her brothers; Richard and Francis Haley, her sister Josephine Kelly, an infant granddaughter, Molly, and her foster son, Ron Bulian.
Pat and Jerry lived and farmed in rural Manhattan for over 45 years, where Pat resided until her last day. She was a long time, active member at St. Joseph Church and CCW, a founding member of the St. Joseph Wednesday Morning Euchre Club, a member of the Will County Homemakers, and a tireless volunteer at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home and Shephard's Table of Joliet. Pat leaves behind her loving family and an inseparable loyal group of friends.
Funeral service for Patricia Kestel will be 9:30 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2011 from Forsythe Funeral Home to St. Joseph Church, 235 West North Street, Manhattan, for 10:00A.M. Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-7:00P.M. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Manhattan. Memorials to St. Joseph Parish would be most appreciated.
