Fought in Siege of Blakely, Alabama BURNS, JOHN Age 18, nativity Missouri, enlisted Jan. 20, 1864, transferred to Company C 34th Consolidated Battalion, Nov. 12, 1864 Mined at Cripple Creek near Colorado Springs, CO. Also was a volunteer fireman. The photo of Jack holding pistol was taken at Grand Lake, Grand Co., CO. He also owned a cabin there.
