Husband of Rhoda A. (Fox) Chase

"In the eighty-fifth year of his age, Warren Chase died, Wednesday of last week, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George H. Benedict, in Worcester. Mr. Chase was born in the town of Westford, August 6, 1825. About the year 1881 went to Worcester, and, being a carpenter by trade, followed his vocation until his declining years prevented. Since the death of his wife, nineteen years ago, he has resided with his daughter and his son, Elmer. When a young man made a profession of the Christian religion and became a member of the Baptist church at Westford. During his long residence in Worcester he has borne the respect of those who knew him. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Benedict, three sons, Elmer, who is Delaware and Hudson station agent at Otego, Burdell, who is telegrapher at Livingston Manor, and Luzerne, a real estate dealer in New York city, and four brothers, C. B., of Worcester; Harvey W., of Seward; Gilbert D., of Elk Creek, and Edward, of Schenectady ... Interment was made in Maple Grove cemetery."
