Death of Ex-Judge Walker.
Ex-Judge William Walker died yesterday afternoon at 5 o’clock at his residence, 422 2d street northwest. Judge Walker was a native of North Carolina, and at one time was chief clerk of the general land office. He served with distinction in the confederate army as an officer, and afterward removed to Illinois and began the practice of law. After resigning his position in the land office he returned to the practice of his profession in this city, and continued in that practice up to the time of his death. He was an old-time democrat and prominent as a Mason and Off Fellow.

The funeral arrangements have not been made.
