George Bryant, aged 50 years, was killed, while rafting lumber for William Simmons of Northampton, on Wednesday. He fell in front of a rolling log, gracturing his skull. Drs Grant and Sprague were immediately summoned but nothing could be done to save him.

He leaves a widow, two sons and one daughter. The family moved here from England last fall.
