Helen BeDen of 328 N. Ann St., age 75, died Saturday, August 26, 1972, at Owosso Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Byron, Rev. Lorenz Stahl and Rev. Homer Van Buren officiating. Burial in Byron Cemetery. Memorial services will be held under the auspices of Huldah Chapter No. 212, OES at 7:30 this evening.

Mrs. BeDen was born in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. John Kline and Louisa Reuss on October 10, 1896 and had been a resident of the Byron area for 48 years. She married Earl BeDen in Durand in 1921; he preceded her in death, October 1962.

Mrs. BeDen was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Byron; Anna Ketchum Circle of Kings Daughters; Circle 3 of WSCS; life member of Huldah Chapter 212 OES and Durand Senior Citizens. She was a housewife.

Surviving are: 3 sons, George K. of Byron, Earl M. of Howell, and Richard H. of Winston Salem North Carolina; 2 daughters, Mrs. Marilyn M. Summers of Swartz Creek and Gretchen M. Gregory of Belding, Michigan; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clarence Kline of Detroit and Jay Kline of Owosso; 2 sisters, Maude Hayes of Corunna and Bessie Hagon of Vernon; nieces and nephews.
