Dear Mother, we are lonesome.
For we miss your smiling face.
But you left us to remember,
None on earth can take your
place.
You bid no one a last farewell.
You said goodbye to none.
The heavenly gates had opened.
A loving voice said, "Come."
And with farewell unspoken,
You gently entered home.
Sleep on Dear Mother -- Take thy
rest.
God called you away. He knows
best.
Sadly missed by her
children, grandchildren,
and great-grandchildren
